Your Helicopter Pleasure Flights over London |

Charter Limited provide helicopter pleasure flights
over London on designated days – Please see
our ‘Tours’ page to view the calendar.
Once
you have your helicopter voucher, please call our
operations team or email, info@excelcharter.com to book the date and time of your flight. When booking
flights, we will require:
* Name of passenger(s)
* Voucher No.(s)
* Mobile telephone number(s) for day of flight
* Passenger weight(s)
Once the passenger has booked a flight, they will become subject to the operator’s
terms and conditions, this includes the operator’s cancellation terms. |
| On
the Day |
All
flights will take place from Stapleford Aerodrome,
Stapleford Tawney, ESSEX, RM4 1SJ (see directions enclosed with the voucher, or download the pdf. file directions on the 'Contact Us' page). Please arrive with
a minimum of 30 minutes in hand before your scheduled
flight time to check in and to receive your safety
briefing. Passengers’ late arrival or failure
to arrive for a flight in time renders the voucher(s)
void and is/are non-refundable.
YOU MUST BRING:
* Your original helicopter voucher(s)
* A form of photographic I.D. (i.e. - driving license or passport)
It is advisable to:
* Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
* Take a camera/video camera (exemptions apply)
Should you be late for whatever reason, the flight will depart without
you and you will lose your seat. In these circumstances your helicopter
voucher will be void and non-refundable or transferable.

| Pre Departure |
| Helicopter
sightseeing is a weather dependant activity, mainly
due to wind speed and cloud base above the ground.
Just because the ‘Sun is shining’ does
not mean that it is safe weather to fly! Helicopter
pleasure flights are only postponed in the interest
of passenger SAFETY. In the event of any such postponement
your voucher remains valid for a further six months
from the date of the cancelled flight. To save unnecessary
road trips, PLEASE CONTACT THE OPERATIONS TEAM (detailed
on the helicopter vouchers) TWO HOURS BEFORE YOU ARE
DUE TO FLY ON THE DAY OF THE FLIGHT. |
| Safety |
| Handbags,
hats and umbrellas or any other loose articles will
not be allowed on the aircraft. Passengers will receive
a full safety briefing prior to boarding the aircraft.
Please control small children in the vicinity of any
aircraft - We will be operating at a busy airfield.
Passengers who present themselves at the helipad in
an inebriated state, or who use indecent language,
or exhibit aggressive behaviour towards either Excel
Charter staff or other passengers will not be flown,
and such behaviour will render their voucher(s) void
and non-refundable. |
| Medical |
| Any passengers
suffering from a medical condition, to which they have
a query, are advised to contact their Doctor before
flying. i.e. any recent heart condition, fitting/seizure.
Any female passenger in the later stages of pregnancy
should consult their Doctor before flying. Passengers
must be over 2 years old. |
| Cancellations |
The voucher
will expire on the date shown on the front of the helicopter
voucher. Passengers may not cancel or postpone bookings
within seven working days of a flight. However, under
exceptional circumstances and given that the seat can
be reallocated, late postponement may be accepted.
Excel Charter also reserves the right to postpone flights under exceptional circumstances.
Should you require your voucher to be extended; this will incur an additional
charge. |
| Weather |
A cloud
base of 1500 feet, visibility of 5km and a wind speed
of less than 30 knots are required for a helicopter
to operate over London. Passengers are responsible
for re-booking onto a flight in the event of a cancellation.
